Update of sr #108977 (project administration): Status: In Progress => Done Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #5: Lisa worked through the www.gnu.org side of the problem and found a process stuck holding the lock file busy. This prevented further processes from being able to get the lock and make progress. Clearing the processes on www.gnu.org to release the lock and restarting all of it allowed the update-cvs.sh script to work again. There were a handful of other web page updates pending too. This allowed them all to be updated again. I have verified that the soc-projects web page now has current information. A task has been queued to have the update-cvs.sh script detect and report when it has stale locks. This should avoid this type of problem in the future. It might happen again but then it will notify and the problem will get fixed sooner. Marking the ticket as closed since things seem to be resolved. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?108977> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
