Hi,

The Git repository guix-consensus-documents contains only one branch: main.
[1]

The first clone keeps the branch 'master' as the default branch.  Therefore,
the user needs to run some Git commands in order to setup the repository.

Maybe I'm missing something, from my understanding, the configuration for the
default branch needs to be done server-side.

Or maybe by an admin.  Hum, I do not know how to CC Ludo [2] with this
message. :-)
