Description:
------------
This project aims to make publicly available a
host-to-host bandwidth measurement tool I wrote
to circumvent difficulties with other network
measurement tools.

I used to rely on iperf for bandwidth measurement,
but was tired of portability problems across unices,
multi-threading headaches, and of struggling
against errors in the summary report.

In order to make life simpler, I wrote a small
piece of code with the iperf features I need,
but much simpler, and hopefully saner. I've been
using it as alternative to iperf on some
unix-like platforms, and believe others
might find it useful as well.

The tool currently exists, but only privately,
and just essential features are fully functional.

The source code is available for inspection here:
