  The project provides a Gimp plugin. The purpose of the plugin is to maintain
a relationship between two layers in the image, with that relationship being
defined by a series of calls to the Gimp PDB. After the source layer has been
edited, the dependant layer us recreated so that it again has the correct
relation (for example, the dependant layer may be a drop shadow of the source
layer). The relations are stored as a persistent part of the XCF file.

For the moment, these relations are defined by writing explicit Python code,
but I would like to allow users to define relations by recording the pdb calls
that result from their user interface actions. I have yet to discover a way to
receive that information.

To install, just unzip in ~/.gimp-2.2/plug-ins/ and then run gimp
