Description:
------------
firebrand is software that provides support for the Willem EPROM
programmer under GNU/Linux. The current code contains Linux-specific
code, but it is hoped that the code will be ported to other kernels
and platforms.
The <a href="http://www.willem.org">Willem EPROM programmer</a> is a
device that supports a wide range of chips. It is sold in kit form by the
project coordinator, but schematics (and some PCB layouts) are
available so people can build their own devices. Prefabricated
devices are also available commercially.
Version 0.1 is available from
http://www.astro.gla.ac.uk/users/paulm/Code/firebrand-0.1.tar.gz
Other Software Required:
------------------------
normal GCC build environment (gcc, make)
