Description:

  transpo is a perl program that can translate a gettext po file from one
language to another. This is useful for speeding up the translation of
programs for languages that are close to each other by using some automated
word exchange, examples of languages close to each other are Norwegian and
Danish, Swedish and Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.

Currently there are dictionaries for:
Translation from Danish to Norwegian Bokmål.
Translation from Norwegian Nynorsk to Norwegian Bokmål.

It was orignally written by Harald Thingelstad for the Norwegian
OpenOffice.Org translation team and I (Eskild Hustvedt) now continue the
development of it.
