Description:

  Project: Freetalk
Function: Console Jabber client

Freetalk will be an extensible Jabber client for the console. It will be
extensible through Guile and will use a readline-based interface, quite
similar to that used by Freehoo
(http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/freehoo). It will be written in the C
language. 

Scheme will be used to as great an extent as possible; configuration files
and most of the functionality will be implemented in Scheme.

Freetalk will be released under the GPL.
