Description:

  JOSS is a light-weight wrapper for using OSS-based applications with Jack
Audio Connection Kit. It was born as the only easy way to get sound from
Quake3-based games on ICE-1712 soundcards and was called q3jack. Now it's
getting more complete OSS emulation (both playback and capture), and was
renamed to joss (ALSA look-alike is aoss). Licensed under GNU GPL.

Currently avalable version (mirrored) - http://www.craknet.net/q3jack/

Final goal is to provide OSS emulation full enough to run all useful
applications.
