==== Description: ====
MU-Conference is a component for Jabber servers (http://www.jabber.org). It
provides functionnality for multi-users chat, as describe in XEP-0045 :
http://www.xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0045.html (it's almost the same as IRC
chatroom, but for Jabber). It supports almost every feature of the XEP
including advanced features like built-in logging. Everything is coded in C,
and it depends on libidn, expat and GLib. The project is licensed under the
Gnu GPL v2.

The project was originaly hosted on jabberstudio :
http://mu-conference.jabberstudio.org, but there going to close really
shortly. A copy of the source code is available via an external svn
repository :  http://gpl.insa-lyon.fr/svn/omega/mu-conference and accessible
with WebSVN :
http://gpl.insa-lyon.fr/websvn/listing.php?repname=omega&path=%2Fmu-conference%2F&rev=0&sc=0

The project is quite old and is fairly stable.

==== Other Software Required: ====
* libIDN : http://www.gnu.org/software/libidn/
* expat : http://expat.sourceforge.net/
* GLib : http://www.gtk.org/
