==== Description: ====
This project exists to help my group members and I learn about operating
systems. We are group 2 of the Fall 2008 CPSC 351 - Operating Systems Concepts
class at CSUF and we will be using this project to coordinate changes we make
throughout the semester to the beloved NACHOS. NACHOS, as you may well know,
is an operating system simulation that runs on a simulation of a MIPS machine.
NACHOS lacks much of the functionality of a real operating system but includes
the framework for things like synchronization, threading, system calls, a file
system, and virtual memory. These things are left as exercises for the student
implement in the skeleton that NACHOS provides. NACHOS runs as a normal UNIX
process entirely in user space. This obviously protects the actual hardware
from the blunders that students tend to make. The version of NACHOS hosted
here is the C++ one.
