==== Description: ====
Mobile Applications for the GNU System
This project aims to enable users to perform mobile applications on a
completely free system. Applications include, but are not limited to mobile
phone calls, ebook reading and navigation system capabilities. Since a
suitable mobile device free from proprietary restrictions is not available,
one will be built from the ground up. Thus, this project is both a hardware
and a software project.
==== Other Software Required: ====
Will probably use the Linux kernel or a version of it, libc and lots of other
existing software.
==== Other Comments: ====
This is currently a "concept only" project. No code exists. Although others
have work which they have indicated they'd be willing to contribute.
==== Tarball URL: ====
none
