==== Description: ====
Extension to bash to provide "text" forms for entering command arguments.
When the user completes the form, the calculated command line is placed in the
edit line allowing the user to further edit the command and arguments.
The purpose of command forms are to assist user in using command options they
are unfamiliar with and helping them learn those options.
The extension implements the following new builtin commands:
fieldspec - to define fields
formspec - to define forms
form - to display a form and place the calculated command line output
in the edit line
A form can be defined to have different display levels. A display level
controls which "fields" are displayed. The user can switch between the display
levels to display additional fields which may represent less commonly used
options.
The extension is published as a source patch to bash.
