Follow-up Comment #1:
Hello Ben,
Thank you for submitting a new project to GNU Savannah.
I see most of the code is already GPLv3+, and there are only few minor items
that would need to changed in order to comply with
the GNU Savannah hosting requirements,
https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php
http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/HowToGetYourProjectApprovedQuickly/
-1-
Please add a copyright statement to the following files (they have a license
but no copyright statement):
src/primitives.h
src/treasure_type.h
src/object_constant.h
src/Makefile.am
src/creature_type.h
src/creature_constant.h
src/monsters_constant.h
src/treasure_tables.c
src/monsters_tables.c
src/treasure_constant.h
configure.ac
data/Makefile.am
doc/Makefile.am
man/Makefile.am
doc/moria.texi
These simple forms are recommended:
Copyright YEARS NAME
or
Copyright (C) YEARS NAME (email)
-2-
There are several textual data files in the "./data" directory.
If it is possible to add copyright and license statements in those files (as a
comment) - please add them.
If it is not possible (e.g. their format does not allow for comments), please
mention in your README the author and license of these data files.
-3-
There are two mentions of the term "Linux" in the manual and help files:
doc/moria.texi
data/version.hlp
"Linux" is a Kernel, not a whole operating system.
If the context of those terms is the GNU/Linux operating system, please
consider changing the wording to "GNU/Linux".
See more details here:
https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html#Linux
http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html
Please, let us know when these are amended and we could continue with the
evaluation.
Regards,
- Assaf
