In the simplest terms, and most convenient definitions, the goal of No X
Utilities (noxutils) is to provide users full use, access, and functionality
of modern Internet web-pages while staying firmly inside a terminal/TTY. The
title of the project refers to the exclusion of the X Window System, as the
project strives to make use of X completely optional, and a matter of
preference to the user. The underlying philosophy of noxutils is that one
should be able to perform all their computing tasks inside a terminal, be it
surfing webpages, checking their emails, or downloading/viewing pictures and
videos, thus making X superfluous.

Noxutils is special as it attempts to make to GUI system completely redundant
to the needs of modern computing and their users. Noxutils strives to be
clean, easy to understand, and portable, in the C programming language.
