Fiku is a microkernel. It is intended to be fast and portable. It is written
in C++, with a little assembly. It currently supports i386, but support for
x86-64 and ARM will be added in future. It is also planned to port GNU Hurd to
Fiku. `Fiku' stands for `Fifs Isn't the Kernel of Unix'. And `Fifs' stands for
`Fiku Is Free Software'.

kernel, OS kernels are always designed to run on bare metal, not on OS (i.e
with emulator).
