== Description: ==
Project Mage is an effort to build a power-user environment and a set of
applications in Common Lisp. It's a platform for constructing text
applications, as well as GUI applications.

It's major goals are:
- structural text editing,
- interface building,
- knowledge-keeping,
- building a power-user environment.

A typical use-case would be note-taking and source-code editing.

The whole system will be written entirely in Common Lisp and it will be
possible to run it on just about any CL compiler, such as SBCL (which is free
software, see http://www.sbcl.org/). The external dependencies are limited to
SDL2 (under zlib, https://libsdl.org/license.php).

I will soon publish a website that describes the project in full detail
(although, first, I would really like to have a running mailing list).

== Other Software Required: ==
Alexandria, Public Domain / 0-clause MIT,
https://quickref.common-lisp.net/alexandria.html
Serapeum, MIT, https://quickdocs.org/serapeum
Parachute, zlib, https://github.com/Shinmera/parachute
April, Apache 2.0, https://github.com/phantomics/april

== Other Comments: ==
There isn't much code at the moment. The project is at its birth, but I will
need a mailing list functionality as soon as possible, so I can talk to people
about the project.

I will be using Git (I need to clean up the history yet, so the git repos
aren't included in the attached tar file).
