Hi all,
I have tried to build schemix 2.4.20 with the kernel shipped in Red Hat 9
(2.4.20-1) but despite a lot of warnings of functions being redefined, and
so, 'make bzImage' worked OK. 'make modules' however broke at schemix. I
cannot give the details now (not at the right machine) but I'll send them
along when I am back home this evening.
However, I have never been able to satisfactorily recompile any of the 2.4.x
series of Red Hat kernels, and this may be one of those cases, again...
I will try it with a fresh 2.4.20 kernel from kernel.org, maybe with some ac
patches (or both cases if I find time). If not this week, expect more news
from me on this topic after the May 1 holidays.
