Hi Doug,
Sorry for the very late reply.
I’m not familiar with Windows so I cannot help much, but my
understanding is that “Windows Subsystem for Linux” (WSL) allows you to
run GNU/Linux binaries directly on Windows. Thus I’d recommend
installing such binaries.
