Removing ./PTree and rebuilding should have done it.  Googling for
"remove_from_node ptree" showed two other people had the same problem,
but they never posted their solution(s).  Are you sure the rebuilds
of PTree and then both DBs actually happened (in the right spot)?  Run
"find / -name PTree -print" to make sure you don't have multiple copies.

I am (briefly) available to login via SSH and look around.
