Hi, all.
pgpkeys.eu is back online under new management (thanks, Dan!).
For the same load-balancing reasons that Marcel outlined in his recent
mail, pgpkeys.eu runs separate hockeypuck and SKS instances.
SKS nodes please peer using:
# Andrew Gallagher <andrewg@andrewg.com>
# 0x00CC54C6A0C601691AF4931FFB73E21AF1163937
sks.pgpkeys.eu 11370
Hockeypuck nodes please peer using:
# Andrew Gallagher <andrewg@andrewg.com>
# 0x00CC54C6A0C601691AF4931FFB73E21AF1163937
[hockeypuck.conflux.recon.partner.pgpkeys_eu]
httpAddr="pgpkeys.eu:11371"
reconAddr="pgpkeys.eu:11370"
A quick update on the above.
sks.pgpkeys.eu is now running on a 5-node load-balanced sks cluster. All
nodes are hosted on the same VM, simulating a multi-threaded
application. They are further divided into one primary which handles all
outgoing recon, and four secondaries that handle incoming connections
via an apache2 mod_proxy_balancer.
I am currently working to minimise the site's metadata collection.
Apache logs are deleted after a maximum of 48 hours (I will reduce this
further once I'm sure everything is working correctly). It also hosts a
tor hidden service at http://umjtu64diezl4b6x.onion/.
All the config files and scripts in use are GPL and available at
https://github.com/pgpkeys-eu/sks-tools if anyone else wants to take
advantage of my experience.
Watch this space for hockeypuck news. :-)
