I have worked-around the problem by removing DEFMACRO support from
"mitscheme.init" conditioned on (mit-scheme-release>= 9 0).  Some SLIB
and JACAL modules were gratuitously requiring DEFMACRO which no longer
needed it (JACAL is also updated).
