Here are my findings so far:

So Ivona is now, as it presents itself, an Amazon company (one more
asset for Jeff <smile>): https://www.ivona.com/

You can try all the voices it sells on this page:
https://www.ivona.com/us/about-us/voice-portfolio/

You can get their voices for accessibility from one of the re-sellers I
mentioned in a an earlier message as stated here:
https://www.ivona.com/us/for-individuals/voices-for-accessibility/

Among the three listed re-sellers, only ReadSpeaker provides something
that could be of interest for a11y on Linux:
http://www.ttsforaccessibility.com/about-readspeaker/
Their solutions for a11y are proposed on this page:
http://www.ttsforaccessibility.com/solutions-2/
which can be spoken with ReadSpeaker clicking on Listen,
which loads this mp3:
http://ivotts-eu.readspeaker.com/cgi-bin/nph-ivona/925f30e7d133c39d6ef31e881b502cb3.mp3
They proposes two products:
A SDK, specs at the bottom of this page:
http://4cwsuq3or162bqn011ym22w1.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/IVONA-SDK-Technical-Specification-Sheet.pdf
A speech server, specs on this page:
http://4cwsuq3or162bqn011ym22w1.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Speech-Server-IVONA-Technical-Specification-Sheet.pdf

In both spec sheets they claim compatibility with Linux.

I will contact them to know more, unless some speech-dispatcher
developer wants to do it.

Best,

Didier
