[Straw-devel] Straw package in Fedora.us QA |

Greetings,
I have packaged Straw for Fedora.us, the official repository of add-on
packages for RedHat^WFedora Linux. It is now in QA phase, though most of
the packaging bugs (hey, mixing Python and GConf is a novelty) should
have been worked out, and I need help getting the packages checked out.
And there is no better place to ask than here :)

In addition, a small request - could the next release of Straw call /
usr/bin/python instead of /usr/bin/python22 from /usr/bin/straw? Fedora
Core 2 will ship with python 2.3 and I dislike applying trivial patches
to upstream sources during package building..
AFAICT most Debian users should have Python 2.2 or above as their
default Python install (certainly the desktop-oriented users that use
Straw) so there should not be any compatibility problem?
Regards,
Michel
