Well, I am still not sure if I will be able to mentor, unfortunately,
so we might only have a backup mentor for Automake.  I cannot decide if
that weakens the GNU application, or if in the case that it won't work
out we could just remove any Automake spots later on.  Could also be
that we can get a student that can also be mentor.
