    There is actually an endless list of task items. Many of these are
    fairly easy, some quite profound.
    
    Task items:
    [] box mode
    [] combined box/tab mode
    [] alternative tunings
    [] multiple guitars
    [] hammer ons
    [] slides
    [] bends
    [] improve rhythm recording/notation
    [] accept rhythm input from keyboard
    [] accept limited midi input
    [] improve latency on midi output
    [] debug tablature for known songs/musical works.
    [] conduct GUI pro/con analysis.
    
Well, pick some that are not that easy and that you think may be done by
a student through a few months, and provide a small description plus
required skills for them :)
