There's a guy in our group, Jim Faeder, that effectively does agent-based modelling, although he might deny it he well knows what he's denying! I don't know he'd have time or inclination to present (I haven't spoken to him), but I always find him funny and entertaining and smart. http://www.t10.lanl.gov/faeder

Finance: Blake LeBaron
I'm not a big believer in ABM w.r.t. finance as it is one area where there are huge perfect datasets.. In my experience it seems pointless to `extend' them using simulations. Data mining is an endless endevour by itself. And I think it is safe to say Blake is famous, at least in these circles. :-)
