Can't reproduce that here. I get the "couldn't load glyph" messages, but
no segfault.
Could you produce me a stacktrace, please?
Run configure as
    ./configure --disabled-lame --enable-debug
and then
    make clean
    make
    make install
.
After that, produce a backtrace by doing
    gdb pdf2swf
    run -p1 clg.pdf -o clg.swf
    backtrace
.
