cool!  This gradient optimization along with the memory consumption optimization (loading each frame costs 2mb memroy on average, sometimes 50mb) will make significantly improvement on the product.  We're looking forward to it!  thanks, Matthias!

It's the gradients. As gradients are currently converted by using
several shapes per object, a single PDF polygon containing a gradient may
cause a few hundred SWF objects to be generated.
Converting gradients from PDF to gradients in SWF is something on
my current TODO list.
