[Swftools-common] pdf2swf wnt't convert open office pdf

i'm trying to install , without success, the latest version of swftools. My problem is that the 0.7 version won't convert pdf exported from open office...
 
i am using the following command:
$convert = substr(system('/usr/local/bin/pdf2swf -j 70 -t -s poly2bitmap /usr/local/apache/sites/mysite/htdocs/usersfiles/'.$input.' -o /usr/local/apache/sites/vdicenter.com/htdocs/usersfiles/'.$output,$retval),-7,7);
 
any clue ? missing parameter ?
