[Synaptic-devel] Bugfix release 0.36.1

Dear Friends,


I uploaded a bugfix release for synaptic 0.36 today. This release is
called 0.36.1 and only contains a small patch that fixes a segfault
for some people with strange apt package lists. 


The patch is pretty small, I attached it to this mail. If 0.36 works
without problems for you, you will probably not need 0.36.1. OTOH, if
you have 0.36.1 and still have problems, please mail me!

P.S. Brave people may want to test the current svn repository at
https://oops.kerneljanitors.org/repos/snypatic (you don't really need
to be brave :) it will probably not eat your hd, the worst thing that
could happen is that it will display wrong stuff). I started to
optimize the code that displays all the packages. I would love to know
about problems.
