Submitted on: Sun 05/25/2003 at 19:59
Category: None Severity: 5 - Major
Bug Group: None Resolution: Works for me
Assigned to: mvogt Status: Open
Summary: after loading new repository errors:
Original Submission: I added this repository
http://apt.sw.be/
redhat/9/en/i386
dag
then ran update list and noticed in the terminal the errors below
bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
bzip2: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)
It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.
You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.
hope that helps someone...
Dennis
