[Synaptic-devel] Error message

Hi,
 
When I try to open Synaptic I get this error message:

<<<The grafical user interface (xlib) does not support your
chosen language environment

Synaptic can crash if you decide to continue with unchanged
localisation preferences. Language values like
"address@hidden" are not supported. Use values like
"fr_FR" or "address@hidden" for your language>>>

Is there a way that I can fixed this error?
