Indeed. And maybe even all the small tests in t/*.t could easily be
directly run by automake since the format they use is the tap format
when run by perl. If I understood well, srcdir cannot be in TESTS, so
simply putting t/*.t in TESTS will break out of source installation,
but a simple script could easily be setup automatically for each t/*.t.
