- Solution for the ghostscript package issue: If the Cygwin package
ghostscript is installed, then the X-version is shadowed, and you get an
error like "Unknown device: x11alpha". Current solution: I found out, that
the script tm_gs is the only place where gs is called, and hard-coded the
path there. Possible general solution would be, that the TeXmacs startup
script detects that it is run under Cygwin (e.g. because of cygcheck is
found in the path) and then sets an environment variable TEXMACS_GS_PATH.  
under *ix, this would be empty, under Cygwin the value would be
/usr/X11R6/bin/.

- The following messages are output on stderror while compiling the cygwin 
package. Can someone comment?
