[Texmacs-dev] Another units question

If I put a breakpoint on line_breaker.cpp:line_breaks() function, the value of 
the line_width for my example is:  907086

What units is that in?  I want to convert it into inches.  I need an equation 
that will result in a value of roughly 6.5. (8.5" - 1.0" of margin on both 
sides).  I tried to divide it by PIXEL (256) and DPI (72), but I don't land at 
a # close to 6.5.
