Hi there, after two days of intense usage, I am still very satisfied about the new Qt-GUI. After solving the crashes due to the KDE style, I encountered no further showstoppers and find the overall experience already superior to the original X11-GUI. Good work!
Just a few details I encountered:* As I already reported, the event loop does not exit when the last window is closed. The application remains idle but undead.
* When entering and leaving math mode, the toolbars and menus are changed. When this happens, the content of the window itself also shifts a bit. When editing lots of math, this gives a somewhat shaky feeling
* When pressing and releasing the "Alt", the menu is activated. This is a common feature on some windowing system, but on KDE it should be determined by the style, not by the application. It seems that TeXmacs has this behavior hardcoded in some way. Since I hit the Alt key quite often when using TeXmacs this often leads to strange behavior when I release it without intending any action.
Greetings, Norbert
