Hi, Jan Lellmann escribió:
Just another issue: I tried the (somewhat old) Windows installer of Gubinelli Massimiliano, http://www.ceremade.dauphine.fr/~mgubi/texmacs-installer-2.exe
Thanks a lot. That's the easier installer for windows I have ever tried and is pretty small! Would be nice if this could also use a native windows CAS as a backend for calculations. I think is difficult because of the poor piping of the Windows shell. May be something like pexpect could be used as a portable way to invoke CAS command in multiple operative systems.
which works very nice - BUT I'm using a German keyboard layout. To enter a backslash on a German keyboard, one has to press and hold the "Alt-Gr" keyand press the "ß" key. Texmacs does not recognize this as a backslash, it just doesn't insert anything. This completely prevents inserting a backslash, which is a bit of a showstopper. Actually it ignores all "Umlaut" keys (äöüß) with and without modifiers.
Accented characters are not working in Spanish either. Cheers, Offray
