Hi all,

Last time I did not stated the problem (especially for CJK language) of current translation mechanism in detail. This time I made some screenshots of current texmacs translation. Please see the attacted file for the following cases:

Case 1: for "tmdoc-keyboard", "tmdoc" could/should not be translated, but "keyboard" is need to be translated in other case. This results in a ugly translation.
Case 2: for "Type 1 only", "Type 1" is a name and could/should not be translated, but "Type" is need to be translated in other case. Also, for CJK language, the translation of "only" should be put before "Type 1". We also get a ugly translation for this case.
Case 3: for the footer message, the string "article" in file path is translated, which is weird.
Case 4: the same as case 3. Even if the filename need to be translated, in CJK language we should not have a underscore between the translation of "no" and the translation of "name".

Therefore, in strings translation, it would be better to just translate strings as a whole. This way is more simple and is used in most of other software.

Bset.
