I know TeXmacs can be a front-end for Mathematica (if one manages to make the mathematica plugin to work). Do you (developers) think, it would be possible to use texmacs as full-featured Mathematica front-end, i.e. including the dynamic stuff? It would be quite handy to use TeXmacs for the text parts and Mathematica session for the rest.

Cheers,
Peter

Hello list,

Could "we" be inspired by http://www.wolfram.com/broadcast/screencasts/announcing_cdf/  ?

It looks fantastic... e.g. the automatic generation of presentations. Overall, it seems to me like something where TeXmacs is, at least partially, trying to get... minus the much more efficient/fast way in which one can produce scientific texts in TeXmacs already today, in contrast to the clumsy Mathematica interface.

Cheers,
Peter.

Terrific idea and excellent features to enhance presentation, pedagogic contents, etc ...
+1 for me

Cheers,
Francois
