I'm not an arbiter of anything. I'm a tcc user. I use it because it's fast. I
think it's a mistake to slow it down. But that is just one person's opinion.

I'd expect it to make not much difference when tcc is built by a good
optimising compiler, but tcc built by tcc will probably get significantly
slower. However, I've not measured it. How much does it matter?
