I dont have a clue about the solution (notice that I only user). Guess that
Philippe, the main developpeur, will soon answer to your troubles.


If compilation of toutdoux-1.2.7 dont works for you, you maybe could try
the unofficial RPM located at 
http://tayau.sourceforge.net/stock-rpm/ToutDoux-1.2.7-1.i686.rpm
for RH 7.x with postgreSQL
it works for me (since I made it with checkinstall)
