Michael,

Eureca! It works!! 8)

Thanks a lot for your help!

However, two little things suprised me:

1 - When I compile a file, and there is an error, the cursor does not jump to the line in the source code buffer, when I type 'enter' on the message in the output buffer...

2 - Every time I run 'make' I am asked to type the password again.

Anyway, I can live with both of them... but it would be better not... any ideas... hehehe?

Again, thank you very much!!

This looks like the prompt from the remote machine, doesn't it? This
prompt does not match `tramp-shell-prompt-pattern'. The problem is the
square bracket [] in your prompt.

Maybe you set `tramp-shell-prompt-pattern' to "^[^#$%>]*#? *[]#$%>] *"
or something like this.

Or you change the prompt on your remote machine.
