Both of the following works:
/Applications/MacPorts/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Emacs -Q /sudo::
/Applications/MacPorts/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Emacs -Q -l tramp
--eval '(setq tramp-verbose 10)' /sudo::
