Glad you asked...

I have a version of 1.2.8 ported to Mac OS X. It seems to work fine (all of
the examples work, plain and FD), as long as it's compiled in debug mode
("-g -Wall"). It fails to build if these options aren't used (the compile
of 'fd2c' fails).

I'll post this updated version to my web site today.
