Follow-up Comment:
Did you actually try this patch? It simply breaks single player game setup.
And as for being "not runnable for many (windows?) developers", it only
concerns Windows developers of Wesnoth that are using '\r\n' endlines. And as
far as I know, it amounts to absolutely nobody. Sorry to disappoint you.



The issue lies within the WML preprocessor; it can't be fixed by modifying
the WML files (except by switching to a one-single-char endline instead of
the Windows many-chars endline). Especially since the macro is valid.

Without this patch, the CVS version since the 12 december 2004 is not
runnable for many (windows ?) developper...
