Follow-up Comment #4:

Although I personally like the piece, the conversion isn't really of
acceptable quality (some of the instruments sound out of place, probably an
artifact of not having the same setup when playing the midi piece).  Also,
the style of the piece seems to not fit in with what most people would like. 
Please consider reopening if the composer gets in touch.
