Dear Jason,
Thank you for the patch. I am glad to read that you are now building
a mirror of simple.
1) sysfs
I would like to understand how sysfs handles the configuration of your
VM and how wp-mirror walks the /sys directory tree.
2) /var/log/wp-mirror.log
If possible, could you please send me, as an attachment, the log file
from your `out-of-the-box' run. The log file can be found by
executing:
(root-shell)# ls -l /var/log/wp-mirror.log*
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 163911 Dec 9 11:18 /var/log/wp-mirror.log
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 1378658 Dec 9 01:53 /var/log/wp-mirror.log.1.gz
-rw-r----- 1 root adm 576051 Dec 8 07:59 /var/log/wp-mirror.log.2.gz
The desired log file would probably be the oldest one, but to be sure
that it contains the desired output, please execute:
(root-shell)# zcat /var/log/wp-mirror.log.2.gz | grep slaves
...
[1234]sys-pathname-slaves-found : (/sys/devices/....)
...
(root-shell)# zcat /var/log/wp-mirror.log.2.gz | grep physical
...
[1234]physical-block-device-list : (/sys/devices/...)
Sincerely Yours,
Kent
