I too agree, and I'm sure I'm not sure saying the Gnits would agree
too, but it was `last updated 1996-09-15', i.e., it was a step towards
standardization, and afterwards the GNU std caught up.  I was mainly
quoting the *intention*, the rationale.

These people are now following the standard scheme, since their point
is to have some standard to follow.  Not to create their own if there
is an existing one.
