Hrmpf. That required regenerating tests/Makefile.in with
Automake-1.9.6. That exposed an interesting bug in that version (since
fixed in CVS Automake): {tests,man}/Makefile.in contain code like this:
| $(mkdir_p) $(distdir)/$(srcdir)
which, depending on how interesting your directory layout is, could
create a directory at some unwanted location. Not really dangerous in
any way, but something to be aware of.
While we're at it: which version is used to regenerate `configure',
should I ever need to do that? The just-checked-in one? The previous
one? Whatever comes handy?
