We've tried to make it compatible. However, I'm sure there are ways
in which it is not. We don't have a list of those :-(.
This release is pretty much of a disaster, due to bad planning.

I build different versions with different values of --prefix.
Then I set my PATH correctly depending on what I'm working on.
